Amy E. PollackColumbia University Amy E. Pollack, MD, MPH, FACOG, FACPM is an obstetrician/gynecologist with experience in domestic and international health sectors. For 15 years Dr. Pollack was Medical Director then President and CEO of EngenderHealth, a non-profit health care organization with operations in 40 countries working to expand reproductive health services in low-resource environments. Most recently Dr. Pollack was Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Adiana, a private women’s health medical device corporation. Prior to joining Adiana she was an independent consultant to GlaxoSmithKline, Global Health Strategies, the Rockefeller Foundation and the World Health Organization on introduction strategies for the HPV Vaccine. Dr. Pollack is well published and has been a spokesperson in domestic and international forums and an as an advisor to health ministers, government officials and world leaders at USAID, the USFDA, NIH, World Bank, WHO, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American College of Preventive Medicine, CDC, UNFPA and UNICEF. Dr. Pollack is board certified in both obstetrics/gynecology and preventive medicine and holds a Master's of Public Health from the University of Washington. She is a Senior Lecturer at Columbia University in the Mailman School of Public Health and serves as a Board member and consultant for several public and private companies and non-profit organizations. |
