(Whitehouse Station, NJ, USA) has pledged to make available at least 3 million doses of GARDASIL® [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] for use in projects in eligible low income countries throughout the world.
The GARDASIL® Access Program Welcomes New Participants in 2010
The GARDASIL® Access Program is pleased to announce that, following the May 2010 Advisory Board meeting, two new applicants were recommended for participation in the program. Since inception of the program, organizations and institutions in Bhutan, Bolivia, Cambodia, Cameroon, Georgia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Moldova, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, Uganda, and Uzbekistan have been approved to receive more than 716 500 doses of GARDASIL to gain operational experience in the design and implementation of HPV vaccination projects in their countries.
